Job summary

BL Companies Inc is seeking a Bridge Entry-Mid-level Engineer to join the Transportation group in the Northeastern U.S. The role offers hands-on experience in bridge design, analysis, and inspections and opportunities for career growth.

A Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 0–3 years of related experience is required, with EIT preferred. The position may be based in Norwood, MA or other regional offices, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• EPT certification is preferred (if applicable).
• Strong writing and communication skills demonstrated in prior work.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for bridges and other transportation structures.
• Prepare design reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Use CAD software to develop engineering drawings and plans.
• Perform bridge inspections including field work.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various projects.
