HNTB Corporation is seeking a highly capable engineer to join our Indianapolis team. You will contribute to challenging projects, develop discipline-specific elements, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with multiple teams.

The role emphasizes strong engineering fundamentals, proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, and AutoCAD, and the ability to progress designs independently. Indiana-based project work supports ongoing growth within the state’s premier design partner network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) and Professional Engineer (PE) certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Assist in the development of project specifications.
• Develop discipline-specific engineering deliverables such as reports, designs, and plans.
• Aid in coordinating and improving productivity of project team members.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
• Collaborate closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform quality control reviews of discipline-specific deliverables.
• Assist with scheduling, time management, and workload distribution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
