Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Bridge Design Engineer II to be based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves contributing to analytical design and producing drawings and calculations under supervision within a transportation-focused team.

Requires a BA/BS in Structural or Civil Engineering with 2 years of related experience, proficiency in 3-D analysis software (CSi Bridge, LEAP), and experience with Microstation or AutoCAD. Hybrid work and a competitive salary are offered.

• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
• Perform field inspection work as available.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Builds analytic and design skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structures.
• Demonstrated experience applying structural design codes.
• Demonstrated experience using 3-D structural analysis software. (e.g., CSi Bridge, LEAP Concrete)
• Demonstrated experience with CADD (e.g., Microstation, AutoCAD)
• Demonstrated experience with bridge inspection work
