Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to perform analyses and design for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and prestressed bridges under direct supervision.

You will help develop bridge models, final construction plans, and project specifications while coordinating with other engineering disciplines. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering or related field, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, performs structural analyses and design for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and prestressed concrete bridges to meet client project requirements.
• Assists in the development of bridge models, final bridge construction plans, and project specifications.
• Coordinates designs with other engineering disciplines.
• Applies the firm policies and practices on all designs; contributes to TKP and technical design documentation.
