Arup in New York is seeking an Engineer for our Bridge, Civil, and Offshore Structures team. You will design and support construction of critical transportation, water, energy, and coastal infrastructure, from concept through construction, with growth potential in structural engineering.

The role is based in our New York office. Master’s in Structural Engineering required; 0–2 years’ experience in bridge or heavy infrastructure design; proficiency with digital tools and coding is valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering is required.
• Interest in design of bridges and heavy infrastructure projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team-based work.
• Experience with digital tools and coding.

Responsibilities

• Design and support construction of transportation, water, energy, and coastal infrastructure.
• Prepare design calculation packages and reports.
• Collaborate with drafters to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in shop drawing and submittal reviews to ensure contract compliance.
