Job summary

HEI Civil is seeking a Bridge Carpenter in Denver, CO to contribute to major bridge and roadway projects. You will build forms, place and finish concrete, and ensure work meets exact specifications while maintaining a strong safety mindset.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, reliability, and comfort working around cranes and elevated surfaces. A high school diploma or GED is required, and OSHA fall protection knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–2 years preferred; heavy equipment experience a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work safely around cranes and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bridge Carpenter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Build and set concrete forms for various bridge components.

• Place and finish concrete.

• Finish concrete in accordance with specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic understanding and familiarity with bridge construction.

• Have reliable transportation and be reliable on the job.

• Must be able to maintain a safe working environment.

• Be familiar with working around cranes and other hoisting equipment.

• Must be able to take direction, give opinion, and ask questions in a professional manner.

• Positive attitude and a safety-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work on elevated surfaces and be familiar with the use of OSHA compliant fall protection systems.

Education and Experience:

• Education: MinimumHigh school diploma/GED required.

• Experience: 1-2 years’ experience is required. Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required.
