Qualifications

  • 3–5 years verifiable experience preferred.
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Must comply with safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units for bridges, drains, walls and other structures.
  • May assist with installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs (if decking is removed).
  • Uses carpenter’s belt with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.

OVERVIEW

(Archer Western Construction, LLC) is currently seeking a Bridge Carpenter for the (TSENC, NC197 PDB Project) , in (Burnsville, NC) .

The Bridge Carpenter constructs, erects, installs structures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials using carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines for jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Measures distance and marks guidelines on working surface to prepare for laying down work

RESPONSABILIDADES
