The ideal candidate will have a Computer Aided Drafting degree and 5-15 years of TxDOT bridge detailing experience. Responsibilities include creating bridge and retaining wall plans using Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and providing CAD guidance to team members. Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Aid Drafting or similar field required.
• 5-15 years of prior structural drafting experience needed.
• Proficiency in Bentley OpenBridge Modeler for production work.

Responsibilities

• Create bridges, retaining wall, and structural detail plans.
• Assist in preparation of quantities and geometry calculations.
• Provide CAD guidance to less experienced staff.

Skills

Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation OpenBridge

5-15 years of recent TxDOT Bridge detailing experience

Knowledge of TxDOT Bridge Detailing Manual

Education
