Job summary

COA Network Inc in Wichita, KS is seeking a transportation drafter to assist with bridge design and related projects. You will provide drafting support to engineers and designers for DOT, municipal, and county bridge projects, and create drawings from designers' input.

The role requires 3–5+ years using Autodesk or Bentley, strong attention to detail, and proficient MS Office skills. A collaborative, team-focused environment and adherence to drawing standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience with Autodesk or Bentley software.
• Experience in structural detailing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of various transportation projects, including bridge structure design, bridge rehabilitation design, bridge inspection and structural analysis, bridge falsework and girder erection design, traffic control, and more.
• Provide drafting support to engineers and designers for DOT, municipal, and county-related bridge projects.
• Create drawings based on input from designers and engineers.
• Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings as directed by designers and engineers.
• Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
