Job summary

Freese and Nichols, Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer to join the Bridge Services Team in Texas offices. You will develop bridge plans, maintain 3D models, and assemble plan sets under supervision, using MicroStation and related Bentley tools. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with engineers are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD drafting and design experience on transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience preparing structural plans for bridges, retaining walls, and other transportation structures.
• Experience in state DOT or local agency CAD environments with Bentley applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans and construction documents for bridges and related structures using MicroStation.
• Prepare detailed bridge plan sheets with high accuracy and minimal revisions.
• Develop and maintain 3D bridge models using OBM or similar software.
• Assemble and maintain plan sets for project submittals.
