Job summary

Bon Bon Belle Bridal in Madison, WI is seeking a Bridal Stylist to help brides find their perfect gown with warm, personal service. You will greet customers, guide appointments, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Fluent Spanish and English are required; previous bridal or retail experience is preferred. This role is non-exempt with daytime store shifts and opportunities for bonuses and tips.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Experience in bridal or retail sales is preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: greet customers, answer phones, respond to inquiries.
• Sales: host dress appointments and guide brides to their perfect dress.
• Service: provide excellent service to wow customers and guests in-store.
• Visual Merchandising: keep displays clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Housekeeping: contribute to store cleanliness and upkeep each shift.
• Training: participate in monthly staff meetings and product trend updates.

What do bridal stylists do?

• Customer Service: greeting customers in a timely manner, answering phones, replying to customer inquiries, and ensuring all customers are taken care of.
• Sales: host brides and their guests for dress appointments, act as subject matter expert guiding brides to say yes to their perfect dress.
• Service: providing the best service possible to wow each customer and guest in our store.
• Visual Merchandising: positively contribute to our store's appearance-ensure the store looks beautiful and all displays are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Daily housekeeping and general upkeep of the store: all team members contribute to the cleanliness of the store, including sweeping of floors, ensuring the bathroom is clean and stocked, organizing the dresses, maintaining glassware cleanliness and organization, and general tidying of the store each shift.
• Continuous training on new products, terminology and new trends, including attending the Monthly Staff meeting.

Who do you have to be?

• Someone fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• Someone with a part-time job elsewhere or a full-time job that allows flexibility to work at our store
• Experienced in bridal/retail sales
• Someone who lives within 30 minutes of the store
• Interested in bridal styling, fashion, or design. May follow trends for those fields on social media
• Likes working as part of a team and who is supportive of their teammates and overall team success
• Doesn’t mind being on their feet and moving around at work
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Compensation

• $12/hour + Bonuses + Tips (Avg. of $24–38 per hour)
