Thimble Alterations in Harlingen, Texas is seeking an experienced bridal seamstress who enjoys working closely with brides throughout the entire alteration process. In this independent contractor role, you will conduct fittings and customize gowns to meet each bride's unique vision.

The ideal candidate will have substantial bridal alteration experience and a confident, customer-friendly demeanor. Additionally, the setup allows you to set your own schedule while gaining bookings through our platform, paving the way for strong referrals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated bridal alteration experience (portfolio or references welcomed).
• Strong customer-facing presence — brides remember the seamstress who calmed their nerves.
• Reliable workspace with adequate space for fitting and steaming.

Responsabilités

• Conduct first, second, and final fittings with brides for their wedding gowns.
• Customize gowns for each bride: hemming, side seams, bodice shaping, neckline adjustments, sleeve modifications.
• Create bustles tailored to the dress design and the bride's preference.
