Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You will foster a five-star customer experience and support the alterations team across the store.

In this part-time role, you will manage the alterations area, assist stylists with gown fit and customization, and ensure pricing and inventory align with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person/phone and adapt communication.
• Use systems to manage customer flow for five-star service.
• Maintain service levels and support alterations, fittings and pricing per standards.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and contribute to Five-Star Customer Service.
• Address customer concerns promptly and know when to involve leadership.
• Explain how alterations fit and promote alteration services and customization.
• Assist stylists in closing sales through gown fit discussions.
• Keep the alterations area clean and organized.
