Job summary

Abita Brewing Company is seeking a Facilities Tech to maintain and repair buildings, equipment, and common spaces across the brewery complex.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks, help with grounds, and coordinate with vendors for supplies. Flexibility for shifts outside normal hours and a hands-on, safety-conscious approach are essential.

Must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds while working outdoors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift/Man lift experience desired.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor electrical maintenance (fixtures, bulbs, outlets)
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance (leaks, drains, toilets)
• Performs minor painting and carpentry work
• Prepares and paints surfaces to protect wood/metal
• Maintain grounds and supply storage areas
• Support onsite events (setup/takedown, power cords)
• Coordinate with vendors for supplies and repairs
• Assist with safety and efficiency improvements
