Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Part-Time Flight Attendant to join our Seriously Nice team in the Charleston area. You will uphold Breeze Values, provide exceptional guest service, and support safety and cabin operations. Training is required and flexibility for irregular hours is essential.

Qualified candidates are 21+, hold a high school diploma, US work authorization, and a valid passport. Applicants must pass FAA/DOT/TSA checks and complete a multi-week training program before flying.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older at application.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• US work authorization without restrictions.
• Passport valid with at least six months remaining.
• DOT pre-employment drug test and TSA checks required.
• Able to complete a multi-week Flight Attendant training course.
• Willing to work irregular hours and reserve assignments.

Part-Time Breeze Flight Attendant Details

Monthly Guarantee is 37.5 flying hours per month Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Charleston International Airport Interview and be selected to become a Part Time Breeze Flight Attendant Successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training

• Communicate clearly when providing instruction, including emergency and evacuation procedures
• Administer first-aid and medical care, if required, in the event of an emergency
• Conduct security screenings if needed
• Complete Autism Awareness Training
• Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence

Here’s what you need to be successful Minimum Qualifications

• Able to perform the physical demands and working conditions of the Flight Attendant role as outlined throughout the position expectation
• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions for any employer (such as U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
• Must be able to travel to/from the United States without restriction or interruption now or in the future
• Must currently possess a Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration*** Height Minimum - must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance Height Maximum – must be able to have adequate head clearance in the cabin Must have sufficient vision and hearing to safely and effectively carry out duties Able to sit and buckle into a Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt on assigned aircraft Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Able to read announcements clearly and competently, give emergency commands and communicate in the English Language Able to serve alcoholic beverages Able to adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations Able to perform all safety-related procedures Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records checkand Breeze background checks Able to complete a 3+ week full-time Flight Attendant Training course Must be willing to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed due to operational reasons Able to work “Reserve Assignments” Able to follow Breeze Airways Tattoo and Piercing policy. Note: Breeze does not allow teeth embellishments in uniform. ***All Breeze Flight Attendants are required to have a current Passport, with a minimum of six (6) months remaining at the time of application***

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Bending Kneeling Standing Walking Moving through aircraft aisles for extended periods (including during turbulence)
• Lifting luggage
• Pushing /Pulling catering carts
• Opening and closing overhead storage compartments
• Operating door and window exits in the armed and unarmed modes
• Working in confined spaces
• Able to open/close overhead storage compartments with a maximum push/pull force of approximately fifty (50) pounds
• Able to operate aircraft doors and emergency exits requiring push/pull force of (90) pounds or more
• Ability to push/pull beverage and food carts on wheels up and down inclines with maximum force of approximately sixty (60) pounds
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
• Able to assist disabled passengers into and out of the Inflight wheelchair, then transporting them as needed
• Ability to work in a pressurized cabin environment with changes in altitude and air pressure
