Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a skilled Breast Ultrasound Sonographer for an outpatient imaging center in Miami, FL. The role focuses on diagnostic breast ultrasound, imaging quality, and assisting radiologists with biopsies in a confidential, patient-centered setting.

Qualified candidates will hold ARDMS/BR or ARRT BS credentials, have 2+ years of breast ultrasound experience, and possess BLS/CPR certification. Sign-on or relocation assistance is available and U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential with Breast specialty-BDMS (BR)-OR ARRT Breast Sonography (BS).
• At least two years of dedicated breast ultrasound experience.
• Hands-on experience assisting with ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is unavailable.
• A general ultrasound credential without the BR or BS specialty does not meet this opening’s requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening breast ultrasound examinations.
• Produce complete, accurate images for radiologist interpretation.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and related breast procedures.
• Prepare and position patients, explain examinations, and verify orders and history.
• Maintain PACS/EMR documentation, equipment readiness, and infection-control practices.
