Sutter North Medical Group in Yuba City, California seeks a BE/BC Surgical Oncologist with dedicated breast surgery expertise to build and grow a comprehensive breast program while maintaining a broader surgical oncology practice.

The role includes leadership opportunities, collaboration within a multidisciplinary cancer care team, and a path to develop referral relationships across the region, with a new cancer center under development.

Qualifications

• Completed advanced breast surgery training via a Breast Surgery Fellowship or Surgical Oncology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in California.
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
• Interest in developing and growing breast surgical services within the community.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow a breast surgery program from the ground up.
• Maintain a blend of breast surgery and General Surgical Oncology.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary cancer care team.
• Lead program development and referral relationships in the region.
• Drive growth and leadership in breast cancer services.
