Job summary

City of Hope Atlanta in Newnan, GA seeks a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to lead 100% breast surgery within a multidisciplinary cancer program. The role offers collaboration with top oncologists and an opportunity to contribute to translational research and patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will join City of Hope Atlanta with an academic appointment; Georgia medical license or eligibility is required prior to start.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or Foreign Equivalent.
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgery required.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain Georgia Medical License prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% breast surgery as a surgical breast service leader.
• Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Lead program development, growth, and quality initiatives within the breast surgery service.
