Medical Center in Savannah, GA, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon to join its well-known practice.

The candidate will participate in Breast Surgery call and collaborate with a multidisciplinary breast cancer team including imaging, radiation oncology, medical oncology, pathology, plastic surgery, nurse navigation, genetic counseling, and lymphedema therapy. The program has 20+ years of history and is NAPBC- and CoC-accredited.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible surgeon in breast surgery.
• Interest in collaborating with a multidisciplinary breast cancer team.
• Strong ties to a long-standing breast surgery program.

Responsibilities

• Participation in Breast Surgery call (no General Surgery call required)


• Interest in working with a multidisciplinary breast cancer team including breast imaging, radiation oncology, medical oncology, pathology, plastic surgery, nurse navigation, genetic counseling, and lymphedema therapy


• Established Breast Surgery Program with 20+ years of history


• NAPBC- and CoC-accredited breast center


• 622-bed, regional referral center serving 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina


• ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center, and Level II Regional Referral Center
