Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG), part of Kaiser Permanente, invites applications for a Breast Surgeon in the Atlanta metro area (Emory Decatur and Emory Saint Joseph's Hospitals). The role includes clinic hours from 8A to 5P, variable OR schedules, and shared breast call with colleagues.

Applicants should be board-certified or eligible within two years of hire; Breast Fellowship training is preferred, with substantial breast surgery experience deemed advantageous.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible surgeon for hire.
• Breast Fellowship training preferred; significant breast surgery experience considered.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide breast surgical care at Emory Decatur and Emory Saint Joseph's Hospitals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary breast cancer team.
• Participate in in-system care planning and tumor board discussions.
• Share on-call duties with other breast surgeons; clinic 8A–5P; OR 7:30A–6P.

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group, (TSPMG) Kaiser Permanente is happy to announce an opening for a Breast Surgeon.

• This position will see patients at clinical locations in the Atlanta Metro - Emory Decatur and Emory Saint Joseph's Hospitals and our affiliated ambulatory surgery centers.

• We have an established in-system multidisciplinary team approach to managing breast cancer patients

• Preferences: Experience with EPIC EMR, team player, willingness to learn and committed to quality patient centered care.

• Clinic hours are 8A to 5P and Operating room schedule will vary between 7:30A and 6P.

• Call is shared with all Breast Surgeons and Breast call only.

Qualifications:

• We are seeking a board certified or eligible surgeon (must be certified within two years of hire).

• Breast Fellowship training preferred. Will consider candidates with significant Breast Surgery experience.
