Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia seeks a fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist to join our team. The selected candidate will perform and interpret mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and tomosynthesis, providing high-quality patient care.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and mentorship of residents are key parts of the role. The ideal candidate holds a medical degree, ABR board certification or eligibility, and fellowship training in Breast Imaging, with a PA/NJ license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• ABR board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or equivalent experience.
• Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey (or eligible for licensure).
• Proficiency in interpreting a wide variety of breast imaging studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a full range of breast imaging studies, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and tomosynthesis.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnoses of breast conditions and diseases using advanced imaging techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with breast abnormalities.
• Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in breast imaging.
• Mentor and supervise residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in breast radiology techniques and interpretation.
• Provide onsite coverage to community centers based on location and convenience
