Job summary

Radiology Associates of Albuquerque (RAA) is seeking a breast radiologist with MQSA certification to join our high‑resolution breast imaging team in Albuquerque. The role offers 3–5 days per week with a mix of patient-facing clinic days and work-from-home days, all optional on-site.

Fellowship training is preferred. RAA provides a partnership track (18 months to partner), generous sign-on bonus up to $60k, and a strong benefits package including CME and solid health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold MQSA certification and be eligible for radiology practice in NM.
• Fellowship training preferred; residents and fellows encouraged to apply.
• Breast imaging experience or focus is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging with a home reading PACS station as needed.
• Provide clinic coverage and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• No weekend, holiday, or general radiology call responsibilities for breast imagers.

Job description

Radiology Associates of Albuquerque (RAA) is physician owned private practice group with 29radiologists. RAA is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico but has radiologists workingthroughout New Mexico. For over 50 years RAA has delivered excellent service to the patients itserves by partnering with Presbyterian Medical Group. We have excellent working relationshipswith our pathology, surgery, and medical and radiation oncology providers. RAA has two physicianowned outpatient breast imaging centers in Albuquerque that are staffed by its dedicated teamofbreast imagers and staff.

RAA is looking to add a breast radiologist with MQSA certification to join our High-Resolution breastimaging team in Albuquerque. Fellowship training is preferred, but all qualified applicants includingcurrent residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.

RAA’s breast imaging team is composed of 5 breast radiologists who work closely with amultidisciplinary treatment team, participate in a weekly breast tumor board and help theirpatients achieve the best possible outcomes. Our state-of-the-art ACR Designated ComprehensiveBreast Imaging Center includes a robust breast MRI program, contrast enhanced mammography,automated breast ultrasound and all breast interventional procedures including Savi Scout andHologic RFID localization.

The position is up to 100% breast imaging and provides a home reading PACS station for a mix ofpatient-facing clinic days and work-from-home days (all work can also be performed on-site ifdesired). The FTE can be flexible, ranging from 3-5 days/week, based on your desire.

RAA offers partnership track (18 months to partner) and full time and part time employedradiologist models. All models are tailored to each applicant’s preferences and strengths. Breastradiologists are responsible for weekday coverage only. Breast imagers have no weekend, holidayor general radiology call responsibilities and no travel requirements.
