Job summary

CBL Path, Inc. in Rye Brook, NY is seeking a Pathologist Assistant for a per diem, part-time position with a pay range of $300K to $400K and 1 scheduled weekly hour.

The role involves preparation, gross description, dissection of tissue specimens, and compliance with safety and PHI protections. Qualifications include a BS or MS from NCCLS-accredited program, 1 year of experience, ASCP BOC certification, and strong reading/writing and analytical skills; the role emphasizes lab safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Masters Pathologist Assistant program from a NCCLS accredited institution
• 1 year of laboratory experience grossing all tissue types from simple to complex
• Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists BOC
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
