Job summary

Mayo Clinic invites a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Breast Oncology Care Team in a highly collaborative, academically rich outpatient practice. You will practice at the top of your scope while caring for patients with breast cancer across the full continuum of disease and treatment.

The NP/PA will work with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other specialists to deliver patient-centered breast cancer care, order therapies, manage toxicities, and support

Qualifications

• NP or PA with oncology experience preferred.
• Experience delivering patient-centered cancer care.
• Strong assessment and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• See patients at initial consultation with an oncologist.
• Independently follow established patients and manage therapies.
• Order systemic, curative, palliative, and supportive treatments.
• Guide patients through complex treatment plans and manage toxicities.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
