Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active FL medical license and national certification.
• Active BLS.
• Experience in surgery/OR, oncology or general internal medicine; oncology preferred.
• RNFA/First Assist experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians in evaluation, management and treatment of patients.
• Assists in the OR and during surgery.
• Prescribes oral and IV medications within scope.
• Documents patient care per medical staff rules.
• Works with Residents and Fellows in inpatient/outpatient settings.
