Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist I to perform breast imaging procedures under radiologist supervision in outpatient settings across Lake Pointe- Rowlett, Rockwall, Greenville, Wylie and Forney.

PRN Days schedule with required ARRT-M mammography certification, TMB licensure, and BLS. Minimum 1 year mammography experience preferred; responsibilities include patient communication, image acquisition, and documentation.

Qualifications

• ARRT-M Mammography certification required.
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality breast imaging procedures according to exam protocol.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and obtains patient history as needed.
• Positions patient and adjusts equipment to obtain optimal images.
• Maintains infection-control and radiation safety procedures.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality standards.
• Documents patient information and imaging records in the system.
