Job summary

UK HealthCare in Lexington, KY seeks a Mammography/Ultrasound Imaging Tech On-Call to provide mammography and breast ultrasound imaging, assist physicians, and expedite patient care. You will QA incoming imaging requests and help maintain smooth patient flow.

Required AS degree; ARRT certification, BLS, KY Radiation Operator’s License at hire; must pass Mammography boards within 1 year and Sonography boards within 2 years.

Qualifications

• AS degree required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• ARRT, BLS, KY Radiation Operator’s License required at hire; mammography boards within 1 year; sonography boards within 2 years.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mammography and Ultrasound Imaging for patients.
• Assist the Physician in developing a care plan and expediting needed care.
• QA review of imaging appointments to ensure reports and images are ready for interpretation.
• Assist with breast procedures and help maintain patient flow.
