Job summary

Optimum Permanent Placement Services has placed a Breast Imaging Senior Medical Director at a southern Ohio facility. The role offers a 4- or 5-day workweek with 6-8 administrative hours per month and no on-call, night, or weekend shifts, all onsite.

You will lead a diverse team including breast surgeons, navigators, mammo techs and support staff while maintaining a board-certified radiologist prerequisite and a strong focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiologist required.
• Experience leading a breast imaging team.
• Ability to coordinate a multifaceted breast imaging program.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated breast imaging team and coordinate daily operations onsite.
• Oversee MRI, US and stereo biopsy procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, navigators and technologists to optimize patient care.
