Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiology Physician in Illinois to join a leading integrated health system. The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, a generous sign-on, and a remote home workstation with IT support.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Breast Imaging Fellowship preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Illinois license or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

  • Perform breast imaging including mammo, tomo, ultrasound, and MRI as applicable.
  • Interpret imaging studies and provide diagnostic reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.

Highlights
  • Earn between $650 - $730k annually, with additional productivity-based earning potential. Earnings will vary based on part-time or full-time effort
  • Generous Sign-on Bonus
  • Opportunity for 100% Mammo or mix of Mammography and General
  • Flexible hybrid schedule with an equitable mix of Day, Evening and weekend shifts
  • Up to 12 weeks of time away annually
  • Diverse case mix, including screening mammo, tomo, diagnostics, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and image guided procedures. Case mix can vary based on experience and geographic location of interest
  • Remote home workstation provided with 24/365 tech/IT support provided
  • IT infrastructure: VizAI, GE PACs, EPIC integrated EMR with PACS, Powerscribe One (incidental follow up recs automated), and multiple AI tools (RadAI, AiDOC) to support high quality and efficient workflow
  • Employed model with physician governance and admin support to allow clinical practice to flourish with high job satisfaction & retention
  • Collegial environment: physician mentorship, team-based mentality, case sharing & healthy relationships with medical staff and administration who understand and support the value of rads
  • Standardized policies & procedures – QI, safety, contrast policies, ease of communicating results; modality-based standardized imaging protocols – All to reduce interruptions of workflow
  • Support to level 1 and level 2 trauma centers
  • Coverage will vary depending on Geographic Area of Interest, North or South Chicago
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
Training and/or Experience Required
  • BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Breast Imaging Fellowship preferred, but equivalent experience in breast imaging also accepted
  • IL License or ability to obtain IL License
