Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Physician to deliver high-quality primary medical care within internal medicine. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in our clinic, ordering labs and imaging as appropriate and coordinating care with specialists.

You will prescribe medications and regimens, discuss side effects with patients, ensure allergy information is up-to-date, and maintain complete medical records in line with state and federal privacy laws.

Qualifications

• Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services.
• Experience prescribing medications and health regimens.
• Experience collaborating with specialists to diagnose health conditions.
• Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• MD from a US medical school with residency completed; board certification in primary care or related field is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care for Internal Medicine patients within standard of care.
• Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer to specialists when appropriate.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens for diagnosed conditions.
• Discuss medication side effects and ensure up-to-date allergy information.
• Maintain complete, timely medical records and patient confidentiality.
