Job summary

Capital Medical Group in Washington DC is seeking a full-time Radiologist with fellowship training in Breast Imaging to join the hospital service team at George Washington University Hospital.

This academic, teaching-focused environment offers collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, and nurse navigators, a high-volume breast imaging program, and opportunities for teaching residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Radiology required.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required.
• Proficiency in minimally invasive breast biopsy across modalities.
• Valid DC medical license by time of appointment.
• Interest in academic medicine and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Multimodality screening for breast cancer using DBT, ABUS, MRI and BSGI.
• Average daily volume includes high screening/diagnostic workload and DEXA tests.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiation oncology and nurse navigators.
• Plain film weekend call; approximately 8 total per year.
• Participate in tumor board discussions and teach residents/fellows.
