Zusammenfassung

Astrya Global is seeking a Radiologist for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in York, Pennsylvania. The position offers weekday daytime coverage with a 2:00PM–10:00PM schedule and potential extension.

You will interpret mammography studies, CEM cases, ultrasound and MRI, and perform breast procedures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Active PA license, ABR, and DEA are required.

Qualifikationen

• Maintain ABR board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Maintain an active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification.
• Maintain active DEA registration.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Adhere to credentialing, privileging, and compliance requirements, including full compliance due 2 weeks prior to start.
• Complete required health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing.

Aufgaben

• Provide coverage for a minimum of 2 weeks to 4 weeks per month, Monday through Friday weekdays only; no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies, with daily volumes of approximately 100 screenings and 30-35 diagnostic mammograms/ultrasounds.
• Interpret and support contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) studies, with up to 2 additional CEM cases daily.
• Perform and/or interpret breast ultrasound examinations.
• Interpret breast MRI studies independently.
• Perform and oversee image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies, and image-guided breast needle localizations, with a maximum of 7 interventional radiology procedures per day.
• Collaborate with and support a multidisciplinary team including mammography and ultrasound technologists, breast imaging navigators, LPNs, and RNs.
• Utilize Epic EMR, Visage PACS, Transpara AI, and Rad AI systems for documentation and image interpretation.
• Complete required health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing.
