UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a fellowship trained young, midlevel or senior Breast Imaging Radiologist, preferably with a strong research focus to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.
We are comprised of 11 Breast Imagers and 1 Breast Imaging Fellow who coordinate clinical care from UMass Memorial’s NAPBC approved Comprehensive Breast Center and multiple ACR designated centers of excellence within a 15–30-mile radius of UMass Memorial Medical Center. Annually, we read approximately 60,000 screening mammograms, 15,000 diagnostic mammograms, 12,000 dedicated breast ultrasounds, 2,250 breast MRIs and 4,250 interventional procedures.
We function in a completely digital environment across all UMass Health sites with six 1.5 and two 3T breast MRI systems, 20 tomosynthesis units, 1 2D mammography unit, 12 ultrasound suites, and 2 ABUS suites. All Breast Imaging Radiologists should be able to perform a full range of breast imaging and interventions.
Starting in the spring of 2026, Breast Imaging faculty will have the option of reading from home on average of one day per week. Full-time breast imaging faculty are allocated 40 non-clinical (academic days) per year.
