The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist (fellowship trained or similarly experienced) for an in-person or hybrid position at our state-of-the- art breast imaging center locations in Nassau and Suffolk County, Long Island.
Position Highlights:
Northwell Health offers comprehensive women's imaging services that emphasize quality, caring and a fully integrated approach to breast health. Our women's imaging services include screening and diagnostic breast imaging, as well as image-guided breast biopsy and tumor-localization for surgical procedures. Every exam is read/interpreted by a breast radiologist to ensure accuracy with our state-of-the- art equipment in order to minimize radiation exposure while maximizing our doctors’ ability to visualize organs, function and disease processes. When an image indicates a need for more care, our breast radiologists collaborate closely with Northwell's breast specialists in surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, genetics and more- a team approach that provides comprehensive care. Our women's imaging specialists also help advance the field through research on a broad range of topics, from imaging technology to the basic science of breast cancer.
