Job summary

UC San Diego invites applications for a Breast Imaging Faculty position in the Department of Radiology. The division offers comprehensive breast imaging services including mammography, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided procedures.

The selected candidate will contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research in a nationally recognized program. Appointments may be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level based on experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• California medical license or eligible, as determined by the Medical Board of California.

Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI.
• Perform image-guided breast procedures and contribute to multidisciplinary care.
• Educate breast imaging fellows, diagnostic radiology residents, medical students, and visiting scholars; participate in educational initiatives.
