Job summary

University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine’s Radiology department seeks an Associate or Full Professor to lead the Breast Imaging division in a non-tenure clinical track. The candidate will oversee clinical, teaching, and scholarly activities and participate in after-hours coverage as needed at a quaternary care center.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree.
• American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with subspecialty training in Breast Radiology.
• Track record of mentoring learners and junior faculty.

Responsibilities

• Interpret breast imaging studies and perform subspecialty procedures (tomosynthesis with CEM, ultrasound, MRI).
• Provide daily clinical supervision of residents and fellows and didactic teaching for students and radiology trainees.
• Engage in educational activities and scholarly work within Penn Radiology and beyond, including materials, lectures, and exhibits for national meetings.
• Lead the Division of Breast Imaging with strong clinical excellence and a focus on research and innovation, including after-hours coverage as needed.
