Job summary

Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, invites an experienced radiologist to lead the Breast Imaging division. This role oversees clinical operations, quality improvement, and growth within an academic medical center.

The Chief will interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, perform image-guided procedures, and mentor trainees while advancing research and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence and collaborative team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the breast imaging division, including clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic growth.
• Serve as the Lead Interpreting Physician for MQSA compliance and regulatory standards.
• Provide expert interpretation of mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and localizations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive breast care.
• Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in clinical research and academic initiatives.
