St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Women’s Imaging Aide to provide patient care for individuals undergoing breast imaging procedures.

The role includes data collection, planning and execution of patient care, while ensuring timely service and clear communication with the care team. You will participate in equipment checks, assist with staff orientation, and perform clinical procedures within your scope.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; health care specialty training preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within sixty days of employment or transfer to position.

Aufgaben

• Performs functions to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction with service.
• Communicates changes in patients’ conditions to onsite care team.
• Restocks department supplies as needed.
• Performs equipment checks and unit maintenance duties as appropriate.
• Assists in orienting and educating new staff.
• Performs clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Extracts data from the medical record and records as directed.
• Transcribes orders and schedules tests/procedures.
• Ensures patient arrival communication to appropriate department and maintains waiting times.
• Answers the telephone within 3 rings and records messages.
• Contacts other facilities for outside films/reports as needed.
• Processes requests for release of information per Medical Record Department policies.
