Job description

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate in the Division of Breast Imaging.

Summary

American Board of Radiology or American Board of Nuclear Medicine certified, sub‑specialty fellowship trained, and able to obtain an unrestricted Florida medical license. The clinical scope of the position will focus on diagnostic imaging in cancer patients including CT, MRI, US, nuclear medicine, and plain films, with optional image‑guided biopsies and interventional procedures. Academic responsibilities include teaching fellows, residents, and students. The candidate will practice medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center and serve as a member of the academic medical enterprise.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical diagnostic imaging services for breast cancer patients, including multi‑modality imaging and image‑guided breast biopsies. Participate in multi‑institutional clinical trials and research, serving as co‑investigator. Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and students. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary academic clinical team and contribute to the institution’s mission of preventing and curing cancer.

Qualifications

• Florida medical license or eligibility for one.
• Board certified/eligible in Radiology.
• Fellowship training in breast imaging strongly preferred.
• Experience in a multi‑disciplinary academic clinical practice setting.

Salary Range

$490,027.20 - $607,833.62 (expected base pay range; actual compensation may vary based on location and other factors).
