The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Health/WPRCI seeks an inaugural Breast Cancer Center Program Director to lead clinical, research, education and outreach for its Breast Cancer Center. This full‑time faculty leadership role will oversee breast oncology services across UAMS Health and affiliated practices, advancing care, trials, and education.

The ideal candidate holds MD/DO/MBBS with board certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and proven academic breast

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree or equivalent.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
• Academic credentials supporting appointments as Associate Professor or Professor.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical research and scholarly achievement.
• Leadership of an academic breast oncology program including faculty recruitment and mentorship.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic, operational, and academic leadership for the Breast Cancer Center across clinical, research, education, and outreach missions.
• Oversee breast oncology services across UAMS Health and affiliated practices.
• Foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and expand statewide access to care.
• Recruit outstanding faculty and develop training and mentorship programs.
• Advance clinical research and therapeutic trials and enhance the program’s national reputation.
