Job description

The Breakfast Supervisor-Complimentary is responsible for overseeing the Breakfast Attendants, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality service to guests in an efficient and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.
  • Capable of working well under stress and pressure.
  • Effective listening skills to understand and clarify concerns of guests and co-workers.
  • Basic understanding of financial data and arithmetic.
  • Maintains composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented interactions with guests and employees.
  • Assist the General Manager in training and developing the food and beverage team.
  • Assist with inventory management and departmental ordering as directed.
  • Work with the General Manager to meet departmental budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintain regular attendance as per Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Ensure high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
  • Serve guests with food and beverage requirements in a professional manner.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
  • Prepare buffet stations, ensuring they are stocked and presentable.
  • Accommodate guest requests or offer suitable alternatives.
  • Be familiar with P.O.S. system operation.
  • Greet and seat guests promptly; ensure menu quality and cleanliness.
  • Answer telephone according to standards.
  • Know menu details and specials.
  • Handle cashiering duties and end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including side work.
  • Keep tables and side stands stocked, tidy, and clean.
  • Always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and colleagues.
  • Understand Aimbridge Hospitality's organizational structure and department functions.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
