Job summary

Lizard's Thicket in Irmo, SC seeks a Breakfast Cook / Short-Order Cook to join our kitchen team. You will start around 5 am and work 8–10 hour shifts, preparing traditional breakfast items and following our recipe manual on grill/oven/fryers to ensure consistent quality.

You will keep space clean, follow food-safety practices, and contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused dining experience. Competitive benefits apply for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience as a cook or in a relevant role is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Report to work around 5 am and work an 8–10 hour shift.
• Prepare traditional breakfast foods by following the recipe manual.
• Use grill/oven/waffle iron/toaster/fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain safe, sanitary storage, handling and serving areas.
• Provide fast, friendly service in a busy kitchen.
