Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring a Breakfast Hostperson to join our Aberdeen, MD team at HOME2 SUITES. You will keep a welcoming breakfast area guest-ready and provide friendly service to guests.

Responsibilities include maintaining the dining area, staying knowledgeable about menu items and brand standards, and assisting guests with questions. This is an on-site role requiring weekend/holiday flexibility and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handling certification preferred.
• Friendly, service-focused, dependable, and able to multitask.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

• Prepare and maintain breakfast/dining area in guest-ready condition.
• Provide friendly, professional service and assist guests with food, beverage, and hotel questions.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, hotel services, and brand standards.
• Monitor food and supplies and assist with food preparation and storage as needed.
• Clean and restock the breakfast area at the end of each shift.
• Maintain required safety, sanitation, security, and emergency procedures.
• Complete required brand documentation.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and work effectively as part of the hotel team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Breakfast Hostperson provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and guest-ready breakfast area. This position helps ensure every guest enjoys a positive breakfast experience.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays.
