Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification may be required by first day where applicable.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Maintain safe food handling practices across activities.
• Understand workflows, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food, serve customers, and complete other duties as assigned.
• Follow recipes and instructions for food preparation.
• May prepare bulk items, large-scale production, line cook, or assemble specialty meals.
• Maintain an organized and sanitary working environment.
• Manage production quantities with proper stock rotation.
• Interact with customers in catering, retail, or patient care settings.
• May deliver patient meals, cashier, stock, and operate warewashing equipment.
