Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Southington in Southington, CT is seeking a Breakfast/Social Attendant to prepare and serve food per our menu and presentation specs, and to host the Evening Social. You will interact with guests in a fast-paced environment and help maintain breakfast and social-related supplies.

The role requires an ability to work early morning or evening social shifts, with a wage range of $16.94–$18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field.
• Must be able to work early morning shift (5:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and/or evening social hours.
• Some experience as a cook is a plus.
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Very good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage, but not required.
• Requires a strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment with lots of guest interaction.
• Demonstrate a true desire to satisfy the needs of others.
• Prepare and serve food using our menu and presentation specs.
• Host the Evening Social (held on Wednesday evenings, consisting of prepared appetizers, beer, and wine).
• Maintain a supplies inventory for all breakfast and social-related items.
