Job Description

As the Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing exceptional breakfast menus that delight our guests and showcase the best of both Dutch and international cuisines.

  • Oversee the breakfast kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Make sure the breakfast is well taken care off throughout the opening times, assuring prompt and timelyrefill of the buffet
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs while maintaining quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment
  • Work in a fast paced environment where no day is the same
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests professionally and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Experience as a breakfast chef is desired - preferablyin a high-volume restaurant or hotel
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency inEnglish; Dutch language is a plus
  • Understanding of various dietary restrictions and food allergens
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as required
  • Creativity and passion for culinary innovation
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
