Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, seeks a Breakfast Attendant for Staybridge Suites in Minot, North Dakota. You will greet guests, provide warm service and ensure a quality dining experience aligned with brand standards.

Key duties include assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with health codes. Prior hotel F&B experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork being essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including assignment of duties, evaluating service, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
• Ability to prepare and analyze date, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer.
• Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.
• Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
• Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations
• Be knowledgeable about state regulations regarding health policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat all guests and ensure a quality dining experience.
• Assist in preparation, cooking and presentation of food according to standard recipes for the bistro and banquet rooms.
• Maintain a clean service area, clean tables and area, and follow health codes.
• Ensure professional, consistent guest interactions and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
• Assist with daily/weekly/monthly food and beverage inventories.
