Job summary

InnVentures IVI LP is hiring a Breakfast Attendant for SpringHill Suites San Diego Poway CA. You will prepare and stock buffet items, ensure a warm guest greeting, and assist with kitchen duties to support an exceptional hotel experience.

The role emphasizes reliable food handling, strong communication, and physical stamina to stand, move, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Permit required; Alcohol Server's Permit may be required depending on location.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills; able to read and write.
• Must stand and move during shift; able to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and meet guest requests.
• Greet guests warmly and maintain eye contact.
• Wash dishes, clean kitchen, and maintain logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving of Food & Beverage items.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Proactively assist guests with eye contact and a warm greeting.
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen and maintain daily checklists and temperature logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred, but not required. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Permit and some locations require an Alcohol Server's Permit. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read and write. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

• 8 paid holidays per year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
• Paid Sick & Safe Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, with up to 72 hours of unused time carried over from one anniversary year to the next.

For Employees Based In Colorado

• 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
• 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

For Employees Based In California

• 8 paid holidays per year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
• Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
