Job summary

Lexington Embassy Suites - Atrium Hospitality is seeking a part-time breakfast attendant in Lexington, KY. You will prepare and present breakfast and/or evening receptions, keep areas clean, greet guests warmly, and support team needs throughout shifts.

No experience required, but teamwork and a great attitude matter. Certifications in Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness are preferred or obtainable within 60 days. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain breakfast and/or evening reception areas.
• Keep buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment clean and stocked.
• Greet guests warmly and handle questions professionally.
• Assist with light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or bar/service areas.
• Follow food safety standards and monitor storage temperatures.
• Communicate updates during shifts and follow safety policies.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Set the stage for a great guest experience by preparing, presenting, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception
• Keep everything clean, stocked, and guest-ready—buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and handle questions or concerns quickly and professionally
• Jump in where needed—whether that’s light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or supporting bar/service areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and team members
• Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards throughout your shift
• Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently
• Communicate key updates during shift changes to keep everyone aligned
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any issues as needed

What We Are Looking For:

• No experience? No problem! If you have a great attitude and love teamwork, we’ll teach you the rest
• Restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience preferred
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during your shift
