Job summary

Compass Resourcing Group, LLC in Seymour, CT seeks Breaker Technicians with a strong mechanical background to repair, upgrade, recondition, and remanufacture mechanical and electrical equipment from a single circuit breaker to a complete substation.

You will mechanically assemble electrical components for motor control centers and switchgear, disassemble and reassemble for reconditioning, and test power transformers and relays.

Qualifications

• Must have substantial mechanical experience in repair or assembly of engines, motors, pumps, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices safely and effectively.
• Ability to read OEM manuals and technical literature.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and reassemble electrical components for motor control centers and switchgear.
• Repair, upgrade, and recondition breakers from 480V to 15kV.
• Test power transformers and relays using standard instrumentation.
